

She was born in a country home around Yuma, Colorado to William and Gladys (Jones) Meier. She was raised along with two sisters (Wilma and Ellen). Agnes graduated in 1946 from Yuma High School. She married Edwin H. Hisam of Washington County on December 16, 1946 and they celebrated their 75th anniversary in December of 2021 before Edwin passed away in July of 2022. Agnes was a stay-at-home mom and took care of her 4 children and their home. She enjoyed her many grandchildren, family dinners and gardening in the summer.
Agnes is survived by her four children, Richard (Sylvia) Hisam of Universal City, Texas; Terry (Floyd) Graves, Kathie Dvorak, and Lynette Patton, all of Greeley. Agnes and Edwin were blessed with 9 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, parents, sisters, Wilma and Ellen, and 3 grandchildren, Tiffani, Cindy, and Zachary.
