Allen showed us all how to go through life, and all it holds ,with joy and dignity.  I have many great memories of him: how he showed up at our door when I was a child, going to visit him in Boulder, seeing his art and meeting his horse, seeing him in Washington at family reunions, visiting him and Ginger in Estes Park, and spending time with him on his birthday last year.  We grieve with Ginger and Emily, and are better people for having known Allen.
