

Andre Ignacio Limas, 11, of Greeley, died Friday, September 14, 2012, at North Colorado Medical Center, Greeley. He was born July 19, 2001 in Longmont, Colorado to David Limas and Lisa Salinas. He was raised and educated in Greeley. He was currently a 6th grader at John Evans Middle School.
Andre was like a light. He could make anyone smile and touched many lives. He loved football, playing video games, rollerblading and riding his bicycle. He also enjoyed camping. Andre was a very bright young man in school. He loved math, choir, swimming, and gym classes. He was very interested in the activities of his brother Stevie in the U.S. Army, and enjoyed playing a soldier and had collected many pieces of Army memorabilia. He loved to cook steaks with his dad. Above all was the love for his family and time spent with them.
Andre is survived by his parents Lisa Salinas and David Limas of Greeley; sister Crystal Terrazas (Gustavo) of Greeley; brothers Sgt. Stevie Limas (Raquel) of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and Jordan Limas (Latisha Briceno) of Greeley; grandparents Esther and Matilde Santillan of Greeley, Juan Mateo Salinas of Greeley, Alice Gauna of Longmont and Joe and Shirley Limas of Greeley; great Grandmother Delores Duran of Greeley; 1 niece, 4 nephews and 9 cousins. He was preceded in death by 2 great grandfathers Ignacio Duran and Remijio Gauna.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at New Hope Christian Fellowship, 1900 AA Street, Greeley. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
