Angeline T. Willis

Angeline attended school in Lake Benton. She became a certified pilot around the age of 18. At the age of 19 she moved to Nebraska where she met and married James “Archie” Davis. They moved to Greeley in the early 1960’s. He later passed away. Several years later she married Ivan “Jim” Willis in Greeley.

Angeline was a member as a Doe of the Elk’s Lodge and various other organizations. She was an avid artist and loved painting and drawing. Angeline enjoyed reading and loved animals. She owned and operated A&P Diner in Greeley with her first husband Archie.

Angeline in survived by her daughters Cathy and Jim Stevings of Arizona, Carol and Watt Saner of Reno, Nevada, Dorothy Crum of Katy, Texas, Kathy and Charlie Grube of Cozad, Nebraska and Cheryl Willis of Loveland, Colorado; one son John and Lynn Davis of Golden; two sisters Arley and Darlene and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded by both her husbands, her parents, one brother Bud Sorenson; one daughter Connie Witherspoon and one son Jimmy Davis.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 5, 2014 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
