

Anthony “Tony” Wayne Larkin, 69, of Greeley, CO passed away on June 27, 2017. Tony, as everyone knew him, was born on January 23, 1948 in Maysville, Kentucky, to parents William Edward and Gloria Agnes (Pullin) Larkin.
After graduating high school from McKell High in South Shore, Kentucky in 1966, Tony enlisted in the United States military, serving in the Air Force as an Electronics Technician during Vietnam. Upon his return home he attended Lamar Community College in Lamar, Colorado. Tony married his love, Diana Krausnick on November 12, 1982 in Lamar, Colorado. He and Diana left Lamar in 2008 to live in Greeley, CO. Tony never graduated from Lamar Community College and yet had a talent for many different occupations. He served with the Colorado State Patrol; was an electronics technician for Neoplan USA (a major transit bus manufacturer); Granite International; and most recently was trained and worked for 7 years as a Wind Turbine Technician.
Tony was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign War, and National Rifle Association. His hobbies included knife collecting, boating, camping, hunting, dancing, taking care of his 30+ alpacas, and spending as much time with his family as he could.
Tony is survived by his wife of 34 years Diana; sons Michael (Leigh) Miller, Chris (Laura) Larkin and John Bellomy; daughter, Dana (Rik) Bates; brother, Norbert Larkin; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his daughter, grandson, parents, two sisters and a brother.
A Celebration of Tony’s Life will be held this Monday, July 3, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Allnutt Macy Chapel, 702 13th St., Greeley, Colorado, followed by a reception.
