Arnold Fritz Schliewack

Arnold attended Greeley Central High School, Aims Community College and California State University San Marcos.

Arnold worked for Hewlett-Packard for over 25 years, and General Atomics for 8 years.

Arnold married Beverly Thomas on September 29, 1984 in Fort Collins, Colorado and they later divorced in October 1995. He was engaged to Vesna Lukich until the time of his passing.

Arnold was an avid baseball fan and card collector. He loved being a coach and manager of little league baseball. He had a passion for pets and rescuing them. Arnold was a beloved family man. He had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back!

Arnold is survived by his mother Irma Schliewack; fiancé Vesna Lukich of Del Mar, California; one daughter Shelly Barnes and husband Scott ; one son Bill Schliewack and wife Angie; one sister Monika Schliewack; grandchildren Kody, Josh, Sydney, Jaylee, Macy, Rylee; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Fritz Schliewack.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. followed by Funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shelly Barnes in care of Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634. They will be given to one of three charities Scripps Ranch Little League, Adoption/Pet Rescue or Cal State University San Marcos.
