It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing. Betty was surrounded by love and the music that always filled her soul.
Betty worked in customer service and built lasting relationships throughout the years. She married her beloved Bob on May 24, 1980, in the beautiful mountains of Colorado.
Together, they enjoyed countless adventures in the western mountains and traveling across the United States in their fifth wheel, always with John Denver playing on the stereo. Their favorite trip was an adventure through Canada and Alaska, which she loved to share with others. Betty found joy in nature, often collecting rocks and tree stumps during their travels. Bob would haul all of her treasures home to be placed in her gardens, no matter how heavy they were!
Betty is survived by her son, Pete (Cheryl) Bean; her daughters, Julie Bean and Kim (Trisha) Bean, Cody (Melissa) Ipsen, Kim (Robbie) Willson; and her grandchildren, Jason (Becky) Spencer, Travis Raisley, Zachary and Asha (Trent) Bean, Josh (Kelsey) Todd, Jessie Hancock, and Kaylee Person, Colton (Diane) Fyfe, Kaila (Josh) Baylie, Karah Ipsen and Connor Ipsen. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Ipsen, her daughters Gaynelle Spencer and Debbie Raisley, and her brother Jack Dever.
