10 March, 1931 – 3 June, 2025
IN THE CARE OF

Stoddard Funeral & Cremation & Sunset Memorial Gardens

Tuesday, 06/03/2025 Betty Kaberline, age 94, left this life and went home to be with her heavenly Father.

Betty Ileen Lauderbach, was born 03/10/1931 to Truman and Edna Lauderbach on the family farm near Crook, CO. Betty was the youngest of three children.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her brother George Lauderbach and Sister Mildred Killgore, as well as her husband Carl Kaberline. Betty is survived by her two sons: Eugene Kaberline and wife Pam, Richard Kaberline and his wife Lana, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.

Betty spent her early years on the family farm and frequently spoke of how much she enjoyed working alongside her father. After graduating from high school in Crook she went on to school in Sterling, CO to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. While in Sterling, she met Carl Kaberline. Betty and Carl married on November 22, 1949. They spent 58 years together raising their boys, camping, fishing, socializing with friends and celebrating family. Betty often recanted memories of her and Carl enjoying a night of “Dutch-hopping” with friends or a day of fishing and “the one that got away.” Betty loved sports, and very seldom missed watching a Broncos or Rockies game.

Betty and Carl spent most of their lives together in Greeley, CO where Betty held various LPN positions. Later she started her own business, Insurance Medical Services. Betty maintained this successful business until her retirement. Betty and Carl enjoyed winters in Rockport, Texas for a few years. They then sold their long-time home in Greeley and took up permanent residence in Rockport. After Carl’s death, Betty moved to Billings, MT. She left Montana in the fall of 2019 and moved to Windsor, CO. In July of 2022 Betty moved to Lemay Health and Rehab in Fort Collins, CO.

Betty will be laid to rest beside Carl at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley, CO.

She enjoyed a long walk and the geraniums on her patio. In remembrance of Betty, take pleasure in a walk and admire the flowers.

“God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
