Becky and Family...
As I researched to find out why my last card did not reach its destination to my old friend Brit, I was shocked and extremely sadened to find the news story on his passing.  I know we have not been able to keep in touch like we thought we would when he moved away many years ago to Colorado but it was always fun to email back in forth regarding the Cubs.  Our prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear about Brit.  I just heard about his passing today from Greg.   My stomach is just in knots.   I am going to miss Brit more than anything at the Rams games.   I want you to know we are there for you.   By the way,  there is only one ""Great Guy"" and he is up in heaven looking down at us.

Brit is one of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.  We became very good friends at ISU during undergrad.  My prayers and thoughts will be with his family.

Today I was very shocked and extremely sad to hear about Brit's death. I can't imagine what you are feeling right now.  Brit had such a kind heart and was a man with such a sweet disposition.  It has been a long time since we have been together and we have lost track of time, but Wayne and I were talking and laughing about all the old times with you guys and the stuff you two did to make us laugh.  Those were the good old days for sure.  Your boys will always be blessed with knowing what a wonderful father and husband that Brit was.  My heart and prayers go out to you Becky, Travis and Jared.

I just found this out this morning, how very shocked and saddened I am by the news. It has been so long since I have seen you guys but immediately many great memories came flooding back to me.  As I read Brit's obit I was reminded of what a zest he had for life, his life was not a life wasted but a life lived to it's fullest. He not only lived life but touched others lives.  He was, and always will be, an inspiration to me and all that knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with you Becky, the boys, your family and Brit's family.

I have some great memories of playing golf at Crestwicke with Brit and of course I'll never forget when you body-slammed Brit on the 11th green during the Divorce Open.  Good times. To the Todd family: What can I say that hasn't been said. We have childhood memories- fishing with Grandpa and listening to the cubs on the radio. Brit always knew everybody's stats not just for the cubs but for all the teams. Then we were in our 20's- playing on softball leagues, with Brit coaching and playing. We have grown apart over the years but I still thought he was awesome.

Becky, I was schocked when Brian told me about Brit's death. I remember that Brit and the fact he was one of the""Jocks"" that didnt pick on the Geeks which I qualified as. I'm one of the Carlock boy's that grew up with Brit and Bryson. I don't know what words I can say. God has plans for us all one day. To the Todd Family, Working with Brit on Health and Safety matters in our company brought smiles to both of us. He was a pleasure to work with as his entheusiasm and passion for his work was very contagous. I will miss his professionalism mixed with character when we worked together.

Brit was gracious enough to escort me to all the must-see sites in Chicago while we were back there for training. He even showed a Cardinal fan Wrigley Field and the roof-top bleachers! Becky, my heart hurts deeply for you and for your sons. I'd just reconnected with Brit at our NCHS reunion in August was happy to hear that you'd been ""just up the road"" for all these years. Brit was ever the warm and positive guy! We reminisced about not only high school days, but links between our churches and youth group friends. My hope was that we might see your whole family at a game or two starting this fall, when my nephew (Nan's oldest) starts at CSU. My prayers are steadily with each of you.

   I was so shocked to hear of Brit's passing.  When I first heard my thoughts went to sitting in our circle at Monday night Bible study.  Brit was a wise man with many great things to teach. When he spoke I could not help but listen with great interest to learn from whatever he was sharing.  Monday nights will never be the same for me and everyone else that shared that time with him.
   I also have a very sweet memory of going to the Texas Roadhouse for Valentines day! You and Brit showed up as a couple and spent a great night with our Monday night family.  I remember sitting next to you and laughing so hard all night long.  That dinner will now be something I will cherish forever.
