
Clara Mae Rogers, 76, of Greeley, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at her home. She was born on April 14, 1939 in Winona, Missouri to Charles and Lorraine (Christian) Denning. She was one of nine children.
In 1974 she moved to Colorado where she met Larry and they were married in 1978. In 1982 they moved to Greeley, where Clara was a homemaker and helped Larry in his appliance repair business as bookkeeper.
Clara was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship Church in Windsor, where she helped with a lot of events.
Clara loved working on flower arrangements, attending garage sales with her daughter , photography and spending time at the lake fishing and swimming. She was an outgoing person and compassionate towards others. She would always help anyone in need.
Clara is survived by her daughter, Liz (Robert) Heslet; step-daughter, Connie (Glenn) Weber and Colleen Doore, step-son, Mark (Bev) Rogers; sisters, Linda Johnson, Pam McAllister, Betty Barns and Wonda Cowell; sister-in-law, Sheryl Denning; brothers, Kenny (Gennie) Denning and Timmy (Betty) Denning; grandchildren, Michael D. Norris, Lawrence R. Norris, Adam and Amber Rogers; Rachel D. Norris and Catheryn White Buffalo; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Melvin Dean Norris, second husband, Lawrence G. Rogers, son, Jeffery Dean Norris, step-son, Rick Rogers and brother, Bud Denning.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family’s home.
