On March 25, 1951, Clarence married Edna Mae Lear. They were married until her death on September 24, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Clarence Troudt (died as a baby), Raymond (Violet) Troudt, Ruben (Alvina) Troudt, Albert (Emma) Troudt and Florence (Ed) Meissinger.
Surviving siblings include: Mildred (Ed) Dyer and Marge (Tom) Brown.
Clarence was drafted into the Army in 1954, where he became a heavy equipment operator and shipped to Korea. He then became an instructor and taught others how to run heavy equipment. When he was discharged from the Army, he worked on road construction and helped build the roads on the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He was a farmer, a truck driver and worked at Monfort Feed Lots for many years. His last 15 years of work were at NCMC where he retired as a maintenance man.
It seemed that no matter what you handed him that was broken, he could figure out a way to fix it.
Clarence was a quiet, kind and gentle man who loved hunting, fishing and any kind of machinery or equipment.
He is survived by his children, Vicki (Jim) Young of Greeley, Randy (Jan) Troudt of Ault, Kevin (Diana) Troudt of Eaton and Mike (Cami) Troudt of Greeley; eight grandchildren, Mikalen Young, Tristan Young, Cami (Jacob) Sampson, Eric (Jacque) Troudt, Nick (Jaime) Troudt, Whitney (Adlei) Carlson, Candace (Heath) Kallen and Mitchell Troudt
A visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
