Clinton ""Pat Millard Nicks

Clinton “Pat” Millard Nicks, 77, of Loveland passed away on January 12, 2014. Pat was born on January 10, 1937 in Guernsey, WY to Milton and Bertha (Thomas) Nicks. He was raised by his mother and father, William O. Cook, in Laramie, WY. Pat married Gwen Bogard in Fort Collins, CO on June 1, 1957.

Pat was a carpenter his entire career. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He enjoyed reading, fishing and camping as well as playing, watching and coaching sports. Most of all, he loved his family. Pat was a very kind and selfless man. He had strong opinions and loved telling stories, which he was great at.

Pat is survived by his wife, Gwen; sons Kevin Nicks, Dennis Nicks, Christopher Nicks and Brian Nicks; daughters Laura Fedel, Nancy Whitman and Karen Widhalm; brothers William Cook, Charles Cook, Mickey Cook and Neil Cook; sisters Carlene Kisselman, Myra Downare and Karen Cook; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Milton Eugene Nicks and sister Barbara VanWinkle.

There will be a viewing beginning at 5:00pm followed by a rosary service at 7:00pm on Thursday, January 16th at Allnutt Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be held 10:00am Friday, January 17th at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
