We had the great privilege of working with David at the Red Cross. He was a wonderful man and we will miss him dearly. May God bless you Shirley and your family during this most difficult time.

Hello to David’s family. I am so sorry for your loss. I knew David as a fellow volunteer for the American Red Cross. We met in an evacuation shelter in a north Fort Collins Fire Dept building when we both showed up to help...turned out, no evacuees just us. He was a newbie just starting to answer calls. We spent some time there chatting. I remember thinking, this guy will be a great volunteer. He had all the attributes to be Red Cross. We care about folks, want to help folks and find ways to get it done. Humanitarian is a perfect description of Dave. I was happy to see him grow and lead in the Red Cross.
