I have been friends with Katie since high school, and after such a long friendship, I also called her Grandma. While there are many memories to look back on, the recent ones I will treasure the most are   from Katie's wedding.  She looked so beautiful and happy, and she wanted to be right where she could see everything that was going on!  
She will be missed dearly.  I hold all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Janice--so sorry to read about your moms passing.  Oh but what JOY for her now.  I share in your loss and know what its like to lose your momma!  Its been 19 years for us. Take care.

I am writing on behalf of my mother, Betty Schlagel, who was a good friend of Ella.  She (Betty)was sorry to hear of Ella's death.  My mom is now in a skilled nursing home in Colorado Springs but reads the church bulletin every week.

Herman: I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. My sister told me today. She is definitely in a better place now. I will be thinking about you and the family.

We were so sorry to read of your mom's passing, Herman.  Our thoughts are with you.
