Elsie grew up in the Denver area, moving with her family to Kersey, Colorado when she was 12 years old. She was raised in the Catholic faith. She worked in the housing business, including making cabinets.
Elsie enjoyed Bingo, softball, 50s and 60s music and spending time with her family. She made wonderful enchiladas.
Elsie is survived by her daughter, Angie Griego of Ft. Collins; son, Juan Griego of Ft. Collins; sister, Helen Bueno of La Salle; brother, Toby (Juanita) Marquez of Evans; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
