Elsie was a dear person and was so supportive of us when we opened and managed the Assisted Living facility on Lemay about 10 years ago.
She was the only family that ever gave us, the administrators, candy at Christmas...she understood!!!

We all enter the stage of life--what we leave behind is Footprints.  Mrs. Russell's footprints, as enumerated in the eulogy were very impressive.  Now her torch has been passed on as a legacy.  By all indications she ran a good race and won.

We want you to know how much love and respect we always had for your mother and your father.  The memorial service was so very meaningful - so dignified.  Your mother would be pleased.  Your family message were beautiful also.

To the family of Mrs. Russell,
I am so grateful that I was able to know Mrs Russell.  She is the landlord of the building out church meets in.  She always attended our prime rib dinner in December.  It was a thrill for me to visit with her. She was such a happy person and she always shared a good laugh with me.  She has been generous to our congregation. I am so grateful that my path crossed with her.  May God comfort you as you grieve the loss of Elsie.

Kelkie and Colleen, While we did not know your mother, it is apparant from reading her Obituary, she was a person full of life, active in the community and loved by all. We know she will be sadly missed by her children and grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and all her many friends.

Dear Elsie...You came into my life rather late in years, but I've known you forever.  What a joy it was to be with you.  The few times we visited when you visited Gladys, and came to family reunions was so enjoyable and I'll always remember your kind and loving way of making it a real pleasure to be in your company.
Thank you for the trips you're made to be with our fmilies and we shall miss you this year. I'll miss your calls and think of you often, and I  certainly will miss you as the person you were to me.

Elsie was a wonderful person. I remember the summer that she came and stayed with her Uncle Bill and Aunt Lucy and their three preschoolers, after mom had surgery and was very sick.  Else helped us to keep it together.  I will always remember how kind and loving she was with us kids untill mom was better.
