Ethel was such a mentor to me and all she met.
Her elegance and grace was and inspiration.
She will be missed.

Your messages are so very special to our family.  We always knew that we were fortunate to have them as parents, but we are thankful that you all got to share their lfe.  You were all special to them.  They are so very missed but their love of life will continue to inspire us.

I met Ethel about two years ago when I became a member of P.E.O. Chapter IK.  At that very first meeting she sat next to me, and at one point lovingly patted my arm.  I was a virtual stranger yet it was such a warm, familiar gesture - I almost got weepy, she reminded me of my own beloved grandmother so much!  That's when I knew I would feel at home with Chapter IK, if someone as caring as Ethel was a member how could I go wrong?  (Plus, I will admit I was impressed by her lilac suede ankle-boots - wow!)
She will be sorely missed - our thoughts are with you all.
