He loved football and was a serious Raiders fan. He was an extremely hard worker, he always got his chores done and was willing to help others out in any way he could. Not only was Ezekiel caring but he was very funny, he had this full of life kind of laugh that was contagious to anyone who heard it and was an adventurous young man.

Ezekiel attended Clayton Middle School was loved by his friends and teachers. He wanted to be a famous rapper one day. His favorite rappers were YNW Melly and YG. He was also extremely artistic and loved to sketch drawings. Most importantly, family was everything to Ezekiel and cherished the time they would spend together, he loved to take long walks with his sisters, and he had a special bond with his grandmother.

He leaves behind his mother and father, his grandmother, Maria Tanguma, his sisters, Deja and Victoria Hernandez, Mercedes and Suzy Alvarez. Ezekiel...I did not know you but , when I saw your obituary, my heart broke for you and your family. I have lost a child and know the depths of despair that comes at a time like this. To think that your family will never be able to hear your laughter, hear your songs, do family things together will hurt for a long time. When my son died 3 1/2 years ago, I asked him to be in the welcoming committee for the youngsters. He loved kids and always had a smile and a sucker for them. I am carrying on this tradition in his name. I also asked him to send me butterflies so I would know when he was near. In this way, your family will know that you are still there with them and I hope it warms their hearts. Our loved ones are never very far away. God Bless your family,

That is so young and I also have have a daughter his age and cannot even see my world without her but know you have other people praying for your family at this time. Ezekiel and I grew up with each other, along with his sisters...our sisters and one other cousin who we also consider our sister. My grandma raised all 7 of us together since we were babies and we’ve been stuck like glue with each other ever since. We had so many laughs, cries, jokes, and just like any other siblings, we also had fights. But we couldn’t stay mad for long, 2 minutes later and we were cracking jokes again and making up our own rap songs. He had his part-the lead-, Suzy had hers, and I had mine. I’ll never forget that little freestyle we made. Now we don’t have you here to start the song for us anymore Zeke, and it hurts us so bad. We all feel that we failed you, we figured if we could do it, you could too. But you were suffering inside and we were all so blind to it. I hope you know that we love you so much with all of our hearts and we miss you everyday and if I could have taken all of your pain away for me, I would have. Wherever you are I pray that you are happy and finally at peace. I’m gonna miss our little jam sessions and our drives up to Thornton. It’s cold and empty without you here. I love you forever baby. I can’t wait until it’s my time to see you. Until then, save a little spot for me next to you and come up with some new songs so that we can sing them when I get there. ❤️ Love always, the bird 🐦
