Flora Maria Ulibarri

Flora was born on January 1st, 1938, in Folsom, New Mexico, to Anselmo and Barbarita Garcia (Rael). Shortly after her birth, the family relocated to Colorado, eventually settling in Pierce. She grew up surrounded by many close siblings.

At the age of 21, Flora married Richard Benjamin Ulibarri, and together they raised four children: Alex, Millie, Diane, and Donna. She proudly became a grandmother to six grandchildren and a great-grandmother to six, even earning the title of great-great-grandmother.

From a young age, Flora exemplified a strong work ethic, holding various jobs throughout her life. She continued to work diligently until she was physically unable to do so. Flora was preceded in death by her parents, Anselmo and Barbarita, along with her siblings Teresa, Rebecca, Andres, Lucy, Baldy, Alex, and Stella, as well as her two eldest children, Millie and Alex. She is survived by her sisters Lorraine and Barbara, sister-in-law Gomecinda Garcia, her daughters Diane (Tony Gomez) and Donna, grandchildren Benjamin, Julene, Fox, Austin, Jessica and Samantha (Aaron Alarcon), great grandchildren, Dean, Danielle, Kato, Isabella, Zelda and sonny, great-great grandson Tiger as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Flora will also be missed by her beloved pet chihuahua Tito, who was very protective of her.

Flora was known for her remarkable spirit and straightforward attitude, as well as her quick wit and sharp sense of humor. She loved listening to music, dancing, and winning at bingo, as well as skunking her family and friends in cards games. She also had a very strong and deep faith and was always grateful for everything that she had. She truly trusted in the Lord no matter what the circumstances were. She never feared death because she knew that when the time came, she would be with the Lord. Flora was dearly loved by many and will be profoundly missed.

Visitation will be held at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 West 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634, on March 3, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 West 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634, on March 3, 2026, at 6:00 pm.
