Frances A. Loustalet, 95 of Aurora, CO, passed away September 21, 2014 at her home. She was born February 7, 1919 in Eaton, CO, to Fred and Orpha J. (Tipton) Austin. She married Warren Loustalet on October 4, 1942 in Kimball, NE. He died in 1991.
Frances graduated from Eaton High School. She was in cosmetology for about 5 years and spent the rest of her time as a homemaker caring for her family. After her husband’s wartime civilian service they moved to Denver, then to California and finally to Aurora.
Frances participated in Lions Club (Denver International Airport) and the Neighborhood Watch. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, antiques, ballroom dancing, and playing cards with her bridge club. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Gary (Regina) Loustalet and Wade Loustalet; daughter, Ardith Loustalet; grandchildren, Cheryl Loustalet, Julie (Kevin) Johnson, Gregory (Andelyn) Loustalet, Collin (Sonia) Loustalet, Alexa Loustalet, and Marina Loustalet; great-grandchildren, Troy and Liam Loustalet, and Elise and Corinne Johnson; and brother-in-law Mike (Marilynn) Loustalet. She is also survived by her former daughter-in-law, Barbara Loustalet; and devoted caregiver, Paula Martinez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother Arden Austin, and sister Evelyn Austin Seela.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. with services to start at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Luncheon reception in the Allnutt Reception Center. Interment at Linn Grove Cemetery.
