

Frank Wallace Morris of Greeley, died on December 3, 2020 in Greeley at the age of 86. Frank is survived by his loving wife Dorothy; his step-children Stephen J. Murray (Tina) of Greeley, Laurel S. Allen of Greeley and Kristen Thompson (James) of Scottsdale, AZ; grandchildren Ryan G. Williams (Daisy) of Fort Worth, TX, Margaret E. Howe of Greeley and Brandon J. Thomson & Brian M. Thompson of Scottsdale, AZ; great-grandchildren Hunter S. Hoover and Hudson L. Williams of Fort Worth, TX.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents Floyd “Andy” Morris and Annetta A. Morris; his brother Roland “Rollie” Morris; step-daughter Kathryn L. Warner (David) and his grand-daughter Erika N. Thompson.
Frank was born on February 6, 1934 in Milliken, CO. Frank attended Greeley High (now Greeley Central) where he quarterbacked the Wildcat’s state championship football team in 1951. Frank was also on the basketball and baseball teams and played saxophone in the band. Frank graduated from Greeley High in 1952. Frank attended the University of Northern Colorado earning a degree in business. Frank also served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany.
A lifelong resident of Greeley, Frank was a businessman, he owned and operated Frank’s Seed and Hatchery for many years. Over the last 35 years, Frank owned and managed a number of properties in the Greeley area.
Frank was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to ski, backpack and hike the mountains of Colorado. An active man all of his life, Frank exercised on a daily basis. Frank married Dorothy L. Murray (Masters) on January 4, 1991 in Wheat Ridge, CO. They spent nearly 30 years together traveling the world, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with their immediate and extended families.
Frank became step-father to Dorothy’s four grown children. Although they called him Frank, they became very close and thought of Frank as their father figure. Frank also developed many lifelong friendships, some dating all the way back to kindergarten.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that you make donations to Covid-19 relief.
