Franklin Andrew Glavinick, 84, son of Vide and Louisa (Sadar) Glavinick was born May 30, 1934 in Leadville, Colorado and died June 23, 2018 in Boise, Idaho. Married Jacquelyn Ann Gee August 23, 1959 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He worked at several jobs throughout his life; Kaiser Steel in California, Suberban Gas Co in Colorado, the school district in Washington and Greeley meat packing company for 27 years retiring in 2009.
He liked tinkering with and fixing broken things, going for a car ride every day, going to casinos, and boats and water, taking an Alaskan cruise on their 50th Anniversary.
Survived by his wife Jackie; daughter Rita (Bill) Robinson Hirsch and son Dale (Caroline) Robinson and grandchildren Alex Hirsch, and Nathan and Selena Robinson; sisters-in-law Darlene Glavinick, Charlene Glavinick, Helen Glavinick, and several nieces and nephews. Preceeded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mary Carveth and Helen Louise Glavinick, and six brothers, Tony, Vide, Joe, John, and two others, John and George, who died as babies.
Memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday June 30, 2018 at Stoddard Funeral Home Chapel, 3205 W 28th St, Greeley. Viewing will be from 10-11 prior to the service.
