Freida Dilka

Freida Rohn Dilka, 96, passed away on July 11, 2024. She was born on December 31, 1927, in Greeley, Colorado to Oswald "Oscar" Rohn and Elizabeth (Linker) Rohn. She was the sixth of ten children; Lydia, Oscar Jr., Esther, Elsie, Reinholdt, Harry, Frederick, Betty and Donald.

Freida started school in Beebe Draw and also attended school in LaSalle; completing the ninth grade. On September 28, 1947, Frieda married Clifford L. Dilka in Greeley, Colorado. She was a mother and a housewife to children and husband. She loved fishing, volunteering at the civic center and singing in the church choir. She was a proud member of St. John's Lutheran Church; she was baptized, confirmed and married there. Her parents were among the founding members of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Freida is survived in life by her son, Dale Dilka (Rusty Vance); grandsons, Cole Dilka, Corey (Jessica) Dilka, Chaz Dilka, granddaughter, Kaylee (Shawn) Dilka; and great-grandsons, Jack, Henry and Mason.

Freida is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Dilka and daughter, Karen Dilka.

Freida will be missed by family, friends and ALL who knew her!

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ, 3815 W. 20th Street, Greeley Colorado 80634. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 W. 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634.
