Gary Wayne Cummings

Gary was raised in Newcastle. He went to the University of Wyoming. Gary worked as an Oil Field Consultant in the oil industry. He retired early.

Gary moved to Evans and then to La Salle in 2002 and has been there since. Gary enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and traveling, especially to Alaska, Jamaica, Oregon and Mexico. He was loved by all who got the privilege to meet or know him.

Gary is survived by his wife, Kris; four daughters, Carla Dowdy, Jolene Walker, Lakyn (Shawn) Murray and Jessica Walker; three sisters, Evelyn Louis (Al) Schibig, Linda Lee (Richard) Poppleton and Sally Ann (Brian) Domina; two brothers, John Lee Cummings and Jim D. Cummings; grandchild, Stratton Murray and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Keith Cummings, Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Stoddard Funeral Home.
