Gary Tyler Hall

Gary Tyler Hall (Ty), age 53, passed away April 19, 2017 after a lengthy and incredibly strong fight against cancer. Ty was staying in Greeley, CO with his parents Gary and Judy Hall at the time of his death. He was born October 26, 1963, in Scottsbluff, NE, where he lived as a child and young man. In high school, he played in two of his favorite sports, football and baseball, worked on several farms, and was very involved in the FFA. Ty went to the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Throughout his career, he worked in Risk Management for various Banks and Savings and Loans. Ty, with son True, spent 6 years in Alaska where he worked for Spirit of Alaska Credit Union. Most recently he was employed by Access Bank in Omaha.

He married Jodi Sleeger in 1994, and from this marriage came Ty’s greatest pride and joy, his two son’s Christopher and True. He enjoyed spending time with them discussing, playing, and watching sports. They loved watching Cornhusker Football and Manchester United soccer games together, two of Ty’s favorite teams. Not only were they father and sons, they were the very best of friends.

Ty is survived by his son Christopher and wife Amanda, son True Hall, his parents Gary & Judy Hall, sister Valerie and husband Scott Stopher, nieces Shanna and Natasha Eirich, nephew Trevor Eirich, great-nephew Easton Eirich, step nieces Cami Hawley (Jay) and Jena Stopher, as well as Aunts and Uncles Pat and Jesse Crane, Kay and Ken McMillen, Oralene and Jim Winchell, Ruth Snare, Deb Heinrich and many cousins.

Ty was preceded in death by his grandparents Oral and Pansy Hall and Phillip (Biff) and Lily Heinrich, Uncles Monte Heinrich, Glenn Heinrich, Ed Snare, and cousins Kelly Crane and Tracy Walker.

A private service with close family members will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greeley, CO.
