Gray, you will be so missed. Your friendship was so special to the people that know you They will say Gary has such a big heart and would do anything for anyone. The last day we talked you were so worried about Greta, she was n surgery, and we were talking about your life together your smile was so full of love for her and your family . Your dreams for the future for the boys, how much you loved your children. I know your life was taken to soon and the world will be a little lonely with out your presents but you will live in all the hearts you touched! My grandpa was such a fun person to be around. He had great energy and was always ready to make a joke. As a kid I spent a lot of time at their house, especially in the summer. I have so many memories of our time together. I remember riding along on paint sales calls. He always had tums in his pocket and would share the ""candy"" with me. I remember ""Bob and Joe's wrecking crew"", where we would walk around in the field behind the house and destroy prairie dog holes, poor things. Also, I remember sitting on his shoulders and putting his long trench coat on, ringing the doorbell at home and saying ""Hey lady, want some candy?"" to Grandma. He taught me to make an x with my two pointer fingers and hiss at my mom when she asked me to do something I didn't want to do, she hated that. He was a great father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Love you grandpa.

I met Gary about 7 years ago when my husband and I moved to Loveland. Roy, my husband , had known Gary for many years as part of extended family . We didn't see him often , usually coming out of Walgreens, but there was always a big smile and a ""come over to the house a few minutes"". His smile was contagious and you could't help smiling back .We will miss those chance encounters . Rest in peace Gary , the world is poorer for your abscence . Betty and Roy Carlozzi

Gary was such a wonderful man!  He was a ""regular"" at Centennial Elementary.  I will miss his smile, great sense of humor and our many ""chats"" about our boys.  Gary was loved by everyone he encountered. He was such a great dad to Martin and Chance.  He loved them more than life itself.  I have always admired Gary's energy, as he was always off with the boys to find their next adventure, fishing, camping, biking, basketball etc.  He often had a few extra kids tagging along in these adventures.  My son included. All of  Chance and Martin's friends LOVED Gary, probably because he was just a big kid and had as much fun as they did :)  Our neighborhood and our school will be forever changed without Gary Ingmire.  He was a blessing to us all.

We are so sorry to hear of Gary's passing.

At a very difficult time of my life, Gary stepped forward and filled a gap as no other could.  Thank you....you will be missed.

I FIRST MET GARY ALMOST 40 YRS AGO AND BOY AM I EVER GLAD I DID. HE SURE KNEW THE PAINT BUSINESS AND PRODUCTS AND IF YOU EVER NEEDED ADVICE HE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU TO HELP AND OVER THE YEARS WE FORMED A FRIENDSHIP AND GUESS WHAT ..HE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU TO HELP.EVERYONE NEEDS A FRIEND LIKE GARY AND I WAS BLESSED TO HAVE ONE.I AM GOING TO MISS HIM. Gary and I were classmates and great friends.  Our friendship lasted long  we then joined the navy together. It lasted thru our enlistment, I then got to see Gary again at High School reunion. Gary was my paint salesman since back in the Komak Paint days of the 70's, until he quit selling paint a few years ago.  Through the years we formed a friendship that went way beyond business associates. Bonnie and I are in Arizona for the Winter, and can't be at the service, but our thoughts and prayers will be.   We will miss Gary very much.

I met Gary at Centennial School when his son & my grandson were in 1st grade  and who are now 5th graders.  Gary was a favorite with all the students because he cared.  They were his friends, and he always gave them the words they needed to hear.  While waiting for the kids to go in for the start of school or waiting for them to come out after school, Gary & I would talk about school, the weather, world problems, whatever.  I will miss his friendship and our conversations.  Gary was a special person who will be missed by all of us.

Our daughter, Jennifer Peters, her husband, Chris, and their five-year old, Austin, have lived across the street from Greta and Gary for five years.  He knew everyone up and down the street, and all considered him friend and neighbor.  He was admired by all for his dedication to home and family.  Our condolences to Greta and the boys. Gary and Greta were our neighbors for a few years here on Bristlecone Place.  That was a loooonnnng time ago..  We had great visits out in our yards and enjoyed their company very much.  When they moved, we would occasionally run into them while we were biking in their neighborhoods.  Gary was a lot of fun and a good neighbor, for sure.  I was sorry to read of his death in the paper this morning.

Gary was our neighbor, but he was really so much more than that. He was a near and dear friend to our family. I can still remember the first time I met Gary like it was yesterday. We had both moved into our houses at the same time and he was so excited to meet new people and live in a beautiful home and neighborhood where he would continue raising his 2 boys with his wife Greta. Gary had such a zest for life, whether it was camping, hanging out with the boys, fixing up his home, decorating for Halloween or Christmas, or tinkering with his latest project or purchase. My family and I easily became close with him. If Gary and the boys were outside and we were too, we were often together. He always went out of his way to talk to, include, and make my shy son Austin feel welcomed. We would discuss life together, parenting concerns, work, and school. Gary never tried to paint himself as the perfect parent, he admitted to his past mistakes, but he tried with everything he had to raise his boys right. He was kind, generous, wise, a hard ass at times, but also a complete softy. To say we are going to miss him would be a huge understatement. We will never forget you dear friend. May you rest in peace.

I grew up with Jan , and have known Gary for years . After losing touch for a long time,  i was able to re-met Gary and Gretta here in Loveland, when Jan moved back to Colorado. Gary was a delight to converse with as we would sit out by Jan's pool and all the times i would run into him around town . One memory of him that I have ,was when I was working at Supercuts , he came to get a haircut, I was surprised to see him after all these years. We spoke of my job , I said ""I'm just a receptionist"" , he corrected me by saying "" your THE receptionist"" , dont sell yourself short . His comment has stayed with me since that day and has made me think "" yes , i do have an important job ."" Thanks Gary !

GARY AND i used to  have a lot of fun as kids together.our cousins the mccorkles lived beside us on south sherman for a long time a lot of great memories there. we had rabbits goats ,horses a myriad of animals just a few of the things to  keep us busy. GARY always protected me ,on the school bus, where ever we were and what we did. I GUESS i always looked forward to him being there  I never thought there would come a time when i  no longer had my big brother  to run to.  JUST REST IN PEACE MY HERO.MY FRIEND . Many many wonderful Christmas's, with dad in the attic as santa claus!!!! Swimming at lake minatare and always having our big raft blow away and all the adults having to go swim out and get it!!!!! Camping trips and that huge kite we all built in Gering that kept lifting us off the ground and carrying us away so we had to put it away!!! Boating at Lake Minatare and skiing. I met Gary almost 20 years ago while married to his daughter Janice. When we got together, Gary and I would go out and have a burger and a beer and share salesman stories. We would laugh our asses off!
Watch out God, if you need paint Gary will sell you some.
