Gayle was born on March 3, 1952 in Haxtun, CO to Carl and Mary Miller. After she graduated from Greeley West in 1970, she continued her education at Aims Community College to achieve a degree in Accounting. Gayle married Donald D. Weber and had a son, Carl. She later married Robert Long and had two sons, Robert and Adam. Gayle worked as an accountant for many years and took great pride in knowing the tax code and fulfilling the tax submissions each year. Incidentally, how apropos is the date of her passing. Gayle loved watching sports; be it Broncos, Rockies, Nuggets, or Avs; she was dressed in her game wear and glued to the set, and never missed an opportunity to attend in person. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Gayle is survived by her brother, Terry (Trudy) Miller; sons: Carl Weber, Robert (Melissa) Long II, and Adam (Treva) Long; grandchildren: Delilah, Nicole, Robert III, Trevor, Paris, Tony, Jacob, and Ty; nephew, Dale Clark, and nieces Christie (Kevin) Liebengood, Tonya (Cory) Lindley, Shilo Walters, and Tara Walters; aunts Anna Hill, and Laurene Miller, and many cousins.
A celebration of Life will be held this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Stephens Farm (Adeo Brain Injury Services program) in Gayle’s name.
