

Geraldine (Gerri) Hill Krummel, of Evans, passed on August 21, 2024 at her home residence with her husband Jerry at her side. Gerri was born on January 19, 1948 to Cameron and Pansy Hill in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Gerri was a 1966 graduate of Halls High School, Halls, Tennessee, and a 1968 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Radiologic Technology Program. She began her medical career working at the University of Tennessee Hospital as an X-Ray Technician and program instructor from 1968 until 1973. She went on to work for many reputable hospitals and medical clinics such as the Portland Adventist Hospital, the Oregon Breast Center, and the Salem Clinic.
Gerri and Jerry moved from Portland to Wilsonville, Oregon in 1984, and were married in Abilene, Texas on June 16, 1985. In 2008, Gerri and Jerry moved to Reno, Nevada for a new opportunity. Gerri retired from her medical career in 2013. In 2018, Gerri and Jerry moved from Reno to their current residence in Evans, Colorado.
Gerri was a founding charter member of the Community of Hope Lutheran Church, Wilsonville, Oregon. She served on the Transportation committee for the City of Wilsonville from 1988 to 1990. She was a dedicated wife and step-mother and an overall caring woman. Gerri loved to knit and sew. She was loved by all who knew her, She will be missed.
Gerri is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Krummel, step-daughter, Amber Krummel, daughter-in-law Mary Beth Bramel, and grandson Oliver Krummel, of Ft. Collins, Colorado, and sister, Mary Lou Hill Brock of Andersonville, Tennessee. She also has numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Cameron and Pansy Hill, and her sister Nancy Hill Baxter.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Allnutt Funeral Service, Macy Chapel, 6521 W. 20th Street, Greeley, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception gathering. A private interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery, 1900 W. Mountain Ave, Fort Collins, at 3:00 p.m.
