Gertrude H. Gaber, 91, passed away on December 9, 2014 at the Ashley Manor Care Center in Evans, Colorado. She was born in Sheboygan, WI on September 29, 1923 to Arthur and Caroline (Schnuelle) Raquet. Gertrude received her schooling in Sheboygan and West Bend, WI. Gertrude met her husband, Dominic, during World War II, when he was serving in the Navy. They were married on July 25, 1944 in West Bend. They moved to Pueblo, CO in 1952 and lived in their north side home until 2009, when they moved to Greeley. Dominic passed away in January 2012.
Gertrude is survived by her sons, Terry (Gloria) of Greeley, Steve (Patricia) of Prescott, AZ, Dan of Jeneau, AK and daughter, Jayne (Brian) Saul of Fort Collins, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be scheduled after the holidays.
