Hubert Sealey Jr.

December 23, 1937 – January 28, 2012

Hubert “J.R.” Sealey Jr., of Greeley died January 28, 2012 at North Colorado Medical Center. He was born December 23, 1937 in Evergreen, North Carolina to Hubert A. and Beulah (Fairfax) Sealey. He grew up in Columbus Co., North Carolina. He came to Greeley, Colorado in 1955.

He was the owner of J.R. Roofing in Greeley. He enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling. He also enjoyed working around his home.

Hubert is survived by his lifelong companion Jean Howe of Greeley; daughter Barbara Sealey of Ft. Collins; son Richard Sealey of Aurora, sisters Mildred Lewis of Greeley and Irene Watson of Chadbourn, North Carolina; grandchildren Brenna (Shawn) Bryant of Williston, North Dakota, Colton Sealey and Simon Sealey both of Aurora; and 4 great grandchildren. Also survived by friends Debra Daniels and Mike Brosig.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the City Of Greeley Tree Donation Program, in memory of Hubert “J.R.” Sealey Jr., in care of Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th St., Greeley, CO 80634.
