I know this is many years past.   I am the grandson of Grandpa Warford.   I recall so many stories of him in the old west taking on injuries from arrows.  Of course I was a very young child who also saw him every Christmas Eve as Santa Claus.   He was a very creative and influential story teller.  I can only wish to have 2% of his musical and story telling talent.   

The perfect career choice would have been an author of fictional, or biographical literature.    So many stories. So many topics.  I am missing him so much.   Wish I could have had the wisdom so many years ago to absorb so much more.  I love you Grandpa.   I look forward to seeing you again one day.   
I just found this site and felt compelled to share how special you are still.  I am now 56 years old in 2024 and still think of you every day.   Most often of you in your wood shop at the garage of your home in Fort Collins;  and . . . . . the one time I finally Columbo'd that  you where Santa Claus.     For anyone reading this, remember to change your shoes when switching from Grandpa to Santa.   Love you and thank you for the wisdom and love you shared with us grandchildren that shaped our lives.

We will always remember Jack for his stories, keeping us up on the  history of our hometown and reminding us of our many camping expeditions to Colorado.
