James “Jim” Duncan, 65, of Greeley, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at his home. He was born on November 24, 1951 in Jefferson City, Tennessee to Ralph and Dorothy Duncan. His father was a pastor and he was one of six children.
Jim was raised in Tennessee and Michigan. He moved to Colorado in the early 1980s. Jim served in the United States Air Force. He worked as a Traffic Control Supervisor.
Jim enjoyed music and his family was his number one.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sharon of 29 years; daughters, Skye Duncan and Kyla Duncan; son, Eric Duncan; brothers, Rex (Gina) Duncan, Tom (Sherri) Duncan, Jon (Cathy) Duncan and Alvin (Stephanie) Duncan; grandchildren, Dakota and Leland Duncan and his grandpuppies, Roper, Tyson, Jazmine, Oakley and Remmington. He was also a proud uncle to many nephews and nieces and their children.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sue Simmons.
Graveside service will be at 12:15 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2017 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area C, Denver.
