My condolences on the loss of your husband and father. I still live in Poteau and remember you well, mostly due to my friendship with Mike. I understand he passed away some time ago. Martha, I wrote you a message on FB.

To Gayle and family: Jim was a wonderful man and shared his love of family and God with us in Staff meetings at First United Presbyterian Church. I was the Receptionist for 5 years and Jim and I would talk about camping and fishing. He always made me smile. God Bless you and we all share in your loss and know he'll make us smile again.

So sorry for your loss but rejoice in Jim's home going. I have fond memories when he was the Facilities Engineer at First Pres. Always had a smile and a positive word of encouragement. Our lives are richer by calling him our friend.

Jim was such a special person.  He was always so kind and would take time to talk even when he had other places to go.  I remember meeting Jim for the first time when I went to work for Edwards Chevrolet.  He was so kind and took me under his wing so to speak and made my time with him special.  Later when he owned the freight company he would come visit.  There will always be a special place in my heart for Jim.
