I know its been several years since his passing but I wanted to send my sympathies to his family. 

I was stationed with Jason for 2 years and he was my roommate for most of that time. He was a good person. He never refused to help someone. He was like a kid in some ways. He was messy but he cleaned better than anyone. He liked to be up late but was always the first one awake in the morning. He loved his comics. He  didn't know how to dance so he learned to dance from a few of our fellow Marines. Everyone liked him. I hope he is at peace and with the Lord. 

To The Briggs' Family: Bob and I are so sorry for your loss. We never got to know Jason but knew how proud his Grandparents were of him and Jeff, as were his Parents.  He will always remain in all your hearts.

I'm so sorry to hear that he has passed away. I just want to offer my deepest condolences to his family in this time of sorrow.

I remember hanging out with Jason in school. We snuck a couple cans of Busch beer out of his parents frig. We poured sugar in the can to make it taste better. It foamed all over the floor. We freaked out thinking we'd be caught. We tossed the cans into the neighbors yard and cleaned up the mess. I think we may have gotten the neighbor's dog wasted. He was one of my best friends in school. I wish I'd kept in touch.

We own a cabin at 955 Morgan Street in Estes Park where Jason had an accident. His dealings with us were always pleasant and congenial and he was always extremely poite and respectful. The replacement for the tree damaged in the accident is beautiful and will be a memorial to Jason's life

Jason was one of the students I remember with great fondness.  He was always so kind and sweet even to the teachers.  As someone who was in my home to do the carpets--he was ever so courteous, always saying thank you and ma'am.  We visited when he was here and he would talk about the military, his arthritis, Jeff and his kids.  I often told him I would be glad to introduce him to a young female teacher but he would decline.
