So sorry to hear about Jean's passing. I really enjoyed visiting with you both when I came over to hang a picture or pick one up. I got to thinking and I known you folks about 15 years now. I always loved how ""Spunky"" Jean was, you always knew where you stood with her. I will miss coming by to see her and the cute pooch too! If you ever need anything Tom, please down hesitate to call me. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Tom, Beth, Mike, Mark and families:  I was so sorry to hear about Jean.  She was always such an inspiration.  I will remember her hospitality at the cabin time and time again, all the fun times we shared and the crazy ladies' shoes.  She brought a smile to everyone. I have just learned of Jean's death and am so sorry to think that this witty, bright, funny woman is gone. She was such a fighter and combatted so many adversities. She truly loved her family. Please accept my deep sympathy for your loss.

Jean was such a nice lady.  We enjoyed visiting at the swimming pool.

I will always remember Cousin Jean for her vigor, her humor, and her total willingness to connect with others. She was a breath of fresh air.  My sincere condolences.

Dear Tom, Beth, Mike, and Mark,  
There are no words that I could say that would make this easier, but I do want you to know how special Jean was to me and that I will miss her so much.  She was a dear friend . . . kind of a ""mom away from a mom"" to me when my own parents moved back to Virginia for a time.  She listened, she cared, and she made me laugh.  Life events continued to get in the way of visiting as much as I would have liked, yet we had many wonderful chances to get caught up by phone. i'm so sorry for your loss.  Jean was a wonderful person and a good friend. My prayers are with you and your family.

We have so enjoyed talking with Jean over the years about Nebraska (where we are orignally from), the Cornhuskers and games she and Tom attended, and her many ""adventures"" in western Nebraska.  She and Ron would always have a ""one-upman"" story to relate and we would enjoy sharing our stories.

The last time we saw her was at Miramont a few months ago when we did some reminiscing.

She was a great lady and will be missed by all.  We send our sincere condolences to her family.

I will always remember talking to Jean at Miramont and she was so cheerful, despite her ailments.  She and Don would have ""discussions"" on politics but always remained friends. My sympathy to you Tom and the family. 46

My mom was the most loving and caring human being alive.  She never gave up on me!  It was only in her last years that she had the daughter whe always deserved.  I will miss her deeply.  I will always cherish all her trips to Texas to help me especial when I had health issues.  In her last few years she got to see me happy for the first time in my life.  She was so loving even when I was not deserving.  She was able to spend the last few years of her life allowing me to give back to her.  For those who are ever ill look to her for inspiration for she was a survivor of may illinesses.  I will alway cherish her.
