

Jeanette lived in the Greeley/Kersey area her entire life. She graduated from Kersey High School. Jeanette joined the U.S. Army, where she received paratrooper training. She worked for Monfort as an over the road truck driver. She married William Collins. He died in 1981.
Jeanette enjoyed crocheting, painting ceramics, gardening, fishing, camping, horses, and playing computer games…she loved “Farmville”. She was a jack of all trades.
She is survived by her brother, Kenneth (Donna) Jurgens and her sister, Pearl Held.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Jerry Jurgens; and two sisters, Dorothy Hamlet and Gladys Walter.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Interment at Linn Gove Cemetery with a reception to follow in the Allnutt Reception Center.
