Jerry Alan Miller of Johnstown died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in Hospice of Northern Colorado. He was born December 7, 1954 in Long Beach, California to George and Joy Minnie (Flint) Miller.
Jerry grew up in California and graduated from Chino High School in Chino, California. He became an over the road truck driver with his step-father Hank Bartley and drove truck for many years. He enjoyed working with Jeff at Environmental Drilling, in Denver.
He met and married Ronda in 1983. They lived in Denver and the Milliken / Johnstown area all of their married life.
Jerry loved the beaches of California and the mountains. He loved to fish and spend time in the outdoors, with his beloved dog, Daisy. He absolutely loved life. He was a very kind man and would help anyone who needed help.
He is survived by his wife, Ronda; son, Jerry Miller, Jr. (Kassee) of Edgemont, South Dakota; step-son Tim Blache of Denver; sister, Sherry Miller of Hanford, California; brother, Gary Miller (Annette) of Fontana, California; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lucas and Lilliandra. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Linda Metzamacher and a brother, Steve Miller.
Celebration of Life gathering will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Stoddard Funeral Home.
