Joan K. Gehring, 82, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away on May 14, 2023. Joan was born on June 18, 1940. She graduated from College High in 1958. She then went on to attend the Central Business School in Denver. On July 15, 1962 Joan married Loren Gehring in Greeley, Colorado.
Joan worked in the medical field as Business Manager for family Physicians for 30 years. She was also a part of the family dairy farm. Joan was a godly women, she was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Greeley. In her free time, Joan loved to play Pickle Ball with a group of seniors, playing cards, quilting and loved spending time with family and friends.
Joan is survived in life by her husband, Loren Gehring, son Dan (Sue) Gehring, daughter, Doreen (Gerald) Clarkson, grandchildren, Klint (Lyndsey Lozier) Gehring, Brandon Gehring, Josh (Emily) Clarkson, great grandchildren, Eliza Louise Clarkson and Winona Paige Clarkson, and Hazel Lozier.
Joan is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Dorothy Goodner and brother, Terry Goodner.
Joan was an incredible daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A visitation will be held Friday, May 26, 2023 at Allnutt Macy Chapel, 6521 W. 20th Street, Greeley, CO 80634 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Allnutt Macy Chapel beginning at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow the Funeral Service, beginning at 11:00 AM. A private interment will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
