Jon Joseph Hergenreter Jr., 70, of Greeley, passed away, November 28, 2017 in Greeley. He was born February 17, 1947 in Sterling, Colorado to Jon and Bertha Hergenreter. Jon graduated from Evergreen High School in 1965, and was drafted into the Army in 1967 where he served in the Vietnam War.
Jon married Judy Keberlein in June 1981. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was a big supporter of the Guadalupe Center.
His family was the most important thing in this life. He loved to play golf and to travel.
Jon is survived by his wife Judy; son Jim Brinkman; siblings Sharon Weingardt, Marianne (Mike) Lynch, Patrick (Susan) Hergenreter, Michael (Dixie) Hergenreter and Nancy (Randy) Hammond; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jean Berhost and brother-in-law Thomas Weingardt and Paul Berhost.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2017 followed by Memorial Mass at 11:30 both at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
