Jose Jesus Ochoa

Jesus Ochoa Sr. was born on March 2, 1922 to Victor and Paula Ruiz Ochoa in Brownsville, Texas. He was the second born of 11 children. He married his one true love, Lucinda Flores on June 19, 1939. They raised 11 children together and were blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jesus made his living mostly in farming; owning farms in Rio Hondo, Texas and Galeton, Colorado. He also worked for Rio Hondo schools in maintenance and as a school bus driver.

He went home to be with his heavenly Father January 22, 2020 in Waxahachie, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lucinda; siblings Henriceta, Emelia, Victor Jr., Hermenia, Juan, Israel, David, and Celia; sons, Jesus Jr., and Raul; sons-in-law, Joe Cardenas and Alex Weaver, and daughter-in-law, Ramona.

Left to celebrate his life are his children Olga (Mario) Rodriguez, Eliseo (Frances), Ninfa (Ben) Rodriguez, Ray (Gloria), Paula Cardenas, Javier (Colleen), Ramiro (Sylvia), Ozzie (Cindi), and Yolanda (Jorge) Rodriguez, daughter-in-law Antonia; siblings, Josephina Salazar and Selestino, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held in Greeley, Colorado, and burial in Eaton, Colorado. Pallbearers will be; Gabe, Ben, Nico, Raul, Rodney, and Adam.

Visitation will be 4-8 pm, Monday, January 27, 2020 at Allnutt Macy Chapel. Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 10:00 am, with interment to follow at Eaton Cemetery. Please visit www.allnuttgreeley.com to send condolences to the family.
