Katherine Wise

Katherine Delores Wise, 69, of Greeley died Friday, October 29, 2010 at Hospice of Northern Colorado, Inpatient Unit.

She was born March 23, 1941 in Laramie, Wyoming to William A. and Thelma L. (Koellner) Moeller. She attended school in Wyoming. She moved to Colorado and married Duane E. Wise in 1958. They were owners of J & H Electric for 3 ½ years. Kathy was employed at Fairacres Manor Nursing Home prior to working at Wal-Mart for 13 years.

Katherine loved dressing up for holidays and especially giving treats and stickers to the children. She enjoyed camping and fishing with family. She adored her dog, Crickett.

She is survived by her mother, Thelma Lou Moeller; two daughters, Peggy Wise and Autumn Wise and a son Kurt Wise all of Greeley; a sister Mrs. Mary Lou (Henry) Minch of Mead and a brother Mr. Ronald (Judy) Moeller of Kersey; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996 and her father in 1998.

Visitation 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday at Stoddard Funeral Home.
