Kevin was my best friend in college.  He and I shared many confidences as well as silly times, dancing at midnight in downtown Denver, swinging on the swings late at night near Vielie Lake in Boulder.  He was one of the most loving big-hearted people I've ever  known.  May he rest in peace and go with love.

To Kevin's Family & Friends,

I just heard this morning about Kevin's illness and passing and I am so very sorry for your loss. 

I knew Kevin originally from Ace where he took care of me for a few years. Eventually I hired him to help me renovate my back yard (about 10-12 years ago) and he was a regular fixture at my home, helping me make good decisions and teaching me along the way.

I have an architectural practice and Kevin collaborated with me on a few projects that had a landscape component and he always did a wonderful job. 

I have been trying to reach him for a few months just to see how he was doing and had an uncomfortable feeling that something had happened to him, and today I finally followed up with one of our mutual acquaintances and heard the news. 

Kevin was also such a joy to be around and I will miss him tremendously. I am sure all of you have wonderful memories of him to carry close to your hearts and in the forefront of your mind as you remember him - I know I do and will think of him often.

I recently unearthed a copy of my 1984 master's thesis and found this in the dedication:
""A special thank you to a special friend, Kevin Numoto, whose caring, indulgence, and laughter opened my eyes.""  May his memory be a blessing.

So sorry to hear that Kevin has passed away.  I remember him coming in to Adolph's store when we were teaching.

I think of you and Barbara often and our good times playing our accordions.
