Born on December 29, 1942, in Greeley, Colorado. A proud veteran, he was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, rising to the rank of SPC5.
Larry’s commitment to his fellow veterans was a cornerstone of his life. He was a lifetime member and past Commander of the VFW Post 6624 in Evans, Colorado, and a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
In his personal life, Larry found peace fishing and traveling. He was rarely without the company of his beloved dogs.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra; his son, John Kendrick; and his siblings Betty, Daniel, Darold, Elizabeth, Norma, Harold, Edwin, and Donald.
Larry is survived by his brothers, Ron, David, and Gary; his children, 2 unnamed daughters, Larry Frasier and Crystal Frasier; his grandchildren, John Kendrick, Jared Kendrick, Kayla Kendrick, and Snow-Anna Toney; and four great-grandchildren.
He will be remembered for his service, and his love for the Colorado.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 16th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 West 28th Street, Greeley CO 80634. Graveside service is to follow the Memorial Service at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 West 28th Street, Greeley, CO 80634. Family invites those in attendance to a reception after the Graveside service at the Evans VFW.
