He was one of eight children born to the late Leslie, Sr. and Sarah Martin. Les will forever be remembered by his surviving siblings, Nancy Moore, Norma Pollman, Dan Martin, and Wanda Troncoso; his three children, Deena North, Lori Zimmer, and Clayton Reynolds; and his five grandchildren, Kate North, Theo and Kaloub Zimmer, and January and Jonathan Reynolds; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Les proudly served in both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army. He was a life-long car enthusiast and a talented mechanic. When not repairing or restoring cars, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his extensive family.
Les was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Richard Martin, Clifford Martin, and Laura Valdivieso.
