Linda Marie Castle

Linda Marie Castle, 54, of Loveland passed away on May 3, 2015. Linda was born on October 13, 1960 in Erie, PA to Richard Ross and Eva Marie (Mysnyk) Hinkler. She married Stephen P. Castle on June 13, 1987 in Fredonia, NY. They resided in Germany for 3 years during Steve’s service in the Army Medical Corps. Linda and Steve had their first child in Fulda, West Germany and then first came to Colorado in 1991 for an active duty assignment to Fitzsimons Army Medical Center. Linda worked as an office manager for dental, and optometry offices. She then was Office Manager and Co-owner of Stephen’s Dermatology Practice which opened in 1996 in Greeley, CO; now called Castle Dermatology and Laser Center.

She was an avid reader and loved gardening and landscaping. Linda also loved the outdoors and mountains. She enjoyed photography, decorating, antiques, meditation, and spiritual enhancement. Linda loved to travel with her family especially to the mountains for skiing, hiking and to explore historical sites. She cherished spending time with her children and husband and often planned more unusual family activities such as indoor skydiving, white water rafting, and hot air ballooning.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Stephen; son Nathan Paul Castle; daughters Jordan Marie Castle and Elise Marie Castle; brothers Randy Ross Hinkler, Michael Ross Hinkler, and David Ross Hinkler; and sister Pamela Marie Moody. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. A private family service will be held.
