Lorna R. Brinser

Lorna was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. At time of death she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Greeley.

Lorna attended parochial Lutheran schools in Sylvan Grove and Lynn, Kansas, graduating from Sylvan Grove, Kansas high school in 1950.

Lorna was employed as bookkeeper for Geist Homes and was on the secretarial staff of the Aid Association for Lutherans, Thomas Fabricius -General Agent.

Lorna enjoyed being a Trinity Quilter. She served as historian for LWML and served on the Trinity Memorial Committee. She enjoyed her years in Lucky 13 cards and Red Hatters. Thanks to the Chickadees group Lorna was able to enjoy many fun times in recent years.

Lorna met her husband John through square dancing - they were married November 29, 1985. John preceded her in death on July 6, 2009.

Family was very important to Lorna. She spent as much time as possible with them. Lorna is survived by: Sister, Dorothy Roberson, Indianapolis, IN; Sons: Michael (Carol) Geist, Highlands Ranch, CO, Randall (Penni) Geist, Greeley, CO and Leroy Geist (Julie) Parker, CO; Step-daughter: Barbara (Terry) Weiss, Lansdale, PA; Step- son: Brian (Jill) Brinser, Bristol, TN; Grandchildren: Brad (Erin) Geist, Kiffany (Marc) Lychock, Melissa (Rob) Feeler, Kyla, Karly, Morgan Geist. Lauren, Christopher, Ryan Geist. Lindsey (Matt) Knudson, Daniel (Cece) Shepherd, Levi (Lauren) Shepherd, Shekinah Geist, Timothy (Christy) Lange, Melissa Lange, Will Brinser, Sarah (Dustin) Massingale, Emily Brinser and Numerous Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: Husband - John Brinser, Parents - Emil Miller and Mildred (Will) Plumlee and Brothers - Roy H. Miller and Leo E. Miller.

Memorial service will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3000 35th Ave., Greeley, CO. Tuesday December 20, 2016 at 11 AM. Inurnment - Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO
