Lucille Setsuko Yashumichi Sameshima, 82, of Ault, Colorado, passed away on September 23, 2016, at her home. She was the youngest daughter of Toshio and Kazuyo (Takumi) Yasumichi and was born July 7, 1934 in Maui, Hawaii.
After graduating from Oahu, Hawaii, Lucille came to Northern Colorado in Greeley Colorado and received her teaching degree. She began teaching at Ault Elementary in the First Grade for 29 years. After her retire retirement, she enjoyed her home on the farm where and especially her family. Her granddkids where the light of her life. She took pleasure making something out of nothing doing crafts. Lucille is survived by her husband Bill Sameshima of 62 years, her daughter Carolyn (George) Gover Farmington and her son Wayne (Judy) Sameshima of Ault. Lucille was proud of her 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Elaine Kumabe of Maui Hawaii and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Stoddard Funeral Home.
