Family is not only defined by blood, but also by love. It is with profound sadness that I offer condolences to my family with the passing of Grandma. I adopted Grandma, Mom and Dad, Joan and Dean many many years ago, when I found my sister and eternal best friend, my Patty. I remember Grandma sitting in her chair, crocheting away, making beautiful afghan doilies etc. She passed this talent on to Patty and together they made my beautiful afghan that sits on my bed. I touch it daily and feel the love and patience they had making it, and I feel blessed to have such a wonderful family. My daughter, Bernice, still has the baby blanket on her bed that Grandma made when Bernice was a tiny baby, sixteen years ago. I tell her my Grandma made that for her, and she cherishes it. Although, I cannot be with you at this difficult time, you are in my heart and in my prayers. I miss you all very much. I am there in spirit and in love. Know that I love you all very much, and you will always be my family. I take comfort in knowing that one day we will all be together again, I know this with my heart and soul. Heidi (Myk)Boehm

It was such a pleasure to visit Lydia. I always had to check out her crocheting. She always had something I wanted or something I could buy from her.She was a mighty fine lady. I know she was dearly loved by all her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by everyone including her dear Brother and sister-in-law. We can all be greatful she left such fond memories for us to cling to when she is being thought of. My sincere Condolences to the Miller Family. Love and Prayers from Shirley and your Uncle Harold.

Grandma, every time we saw each other, at the end of each visit, you would tell me ""I love you boy and don't you ever forget it"" I would reply ""You know the same goes for you too, I love you and Don't you forget it!"" we would both smile and hug. She accepted me as one of her own grandkids from the very 1st day we met. There is a giant hole in my heart today. I Love you Grandma, and Don't you forget it....
