She attained her Master’s in Special Education in 1986 from Central Michigan University then a Master’s in Counselling in 2002.
She will always be remembered for her compassion, generosity and globe-trotting adventures. Lynn loved to celebrate, to craft and create, party and pamper. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, photography and reading. She was recently at her happy place – Disney World. Lynn’s change of career from educator to counsellor was inspired by having Bryan as a 7th grade student. She felt called to help Bryan following the tragic loss of his mother. She and Bill eventually adopted him as God-given family. The adoption of Bryan and her 37 year marriage to Bill were the highlights of her life.
Special mention must go to Lynn’s in-laws in Michigan for their support of Lynn following Bill’s passing. In particular Dale Osentoski, who valiantly fielded the hospital updates in her last days. Not an easy task, but she chose well. We will all miss her wisdom, sparkle and enthusiasm.
Throughout her life journey, Lynn was surrounded by a family of friends and Christians who were always there for her. To those who were touched by her teaching or counselling, who were part of her international family; to those who enjoyed holidays together with her and who shared her deep faith we salute and thank you.
Lynn is survived by her son Bryan (Ruth), grandson Alex, by one brother Mike Keber (Lynne), & numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Dee & Al, by her sister Susan Keber-Decker and beloved husband William Peter Osentoski.
A service will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1800 21st Ave, Greeley at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022. It will be live streamed and recorded at www.greeleylutheran.org.
In lieu of flowers consider making a donation to Our Savior’s Capital Campaign fund. It would be wonderful thing, if in her memory, you each could perform an act of kindness and ask that it be paid forward - Sprinkle some fairy dust in someone’s life.
“It’s just BEA-U-TIFUL”, she’s saying to us all.
