Brad,
I was sorry to hear of your loss. Your mother was equally gracious and skeptical of any teenage scheme we managed to run by her.
As you might remember, it was your mother who, when asked by us if she knew where the Band-aids were, demanded to inspect my right leg, which had been cut on the way home from Heath in 1974.
That little spill I took on the brick wall on 16th Street left a bigger hole in my leg than you or I imagined. 
But she imagined the worst, did her best to treat me and later was able to console my mother, who shared a laugh with yours about the whole thing .... many months later.

Marilyn has always been an integral part of the special events in my life.  It meant a great deal to Al and I that she and LeRoy came to our wedding in Texas this past November.  She will be greatly missed.  Our thoughts are with you and all of the family.
